And they had already seen the movie.

At the Acworth Wal-Mart, fans of the second movie in the Twilight Saga formed two lines at the front of the store waiting for the clock to hit midnight. The movie, based on the book series by Stephanie Meyer, is just that good, say the fans who didn’t seem to mind the wait.

“I’ve seen it twice in theaters, and I’m impatient,” said 21-year-old Kylie Clouse. “It’s really good.”

Clouse said she’s read all four of the books in the series. Late Friday night, she told her grandmother she was headed out to buy the movie, sold along with a DVD containing a trailer for the next movie.

“Can I go too?” Joyce Glass asked.

The 71-year-old Glass had already seen the movie, too. she stood in line to buy a copy for another granddaughter.

Sisters Hailey, 17, and 15-year-old Katelyn Graydon said they waited about three hours to get their copy of the movie, and were among the first in line to buy it.

“We’ll probably watch it tonight,” Hailey said on her way out of the store.

Women seemed to be the most dedicated fans of the movie, which stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. But husbands, brothers and friends stood in line, too.

“It’s for her,” said Christopher Hughett, as his wife Sarah held the bag with her copy of the movie.

Jennie Holub of Acworth said she waited about 45 minutes to get the DVD, which she plans to watch with her sister Saturday morning. Holub brought along her 14-year-old son, who was quick to point out he had no interest in the movie whatsoever.

“I’m here against my will,” said a smiling Eric Celentano.
