Those who would like to check on their income tax refund may do so via phone until the refund tool is fixed.

You may call 1-800-829-1954 to be connected. It is important to wait at least 72 hours after filing your returns by E-Mail, and at least three weeks if filed through postal mail before checking on the status of your refund. also, you will need your Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, Filing Status, and the exact amount expected of your refund when calling.
